The neighborhood is family-friendly and very popular with locals/Niçois. It has all shops, supermarkets, restaurants as well as parks and local farmers market. Located just 10 minutes by T1 Tram from Nice city centre and less than 15 minutes from the beaches of the celery Promenade des Anglais, my neighborhood opens your arms and makes you discover another facet, no less warm and pleasant, of the life of Nice, such as real locals.Boulevard Gorbella covers an old valley called "Gorbellon" or "Gorbeloun", in the Nissarte language, which has given it its name since 1926. It is one of the main historical axes, north-south of Nice. It runs from Square Boyer to Place Fontaine du Temple.Until the interwar years, Gorbella was only vast plains ideally exposed to the south and well irrigated by several springs of Gairaut, hill overlooking the neighborhood, meeting in valleys, such as the Gorbellon, mentioned above.Since ancient times, vegetable crops, horticulture, olive groves and orchards have stocked the Niçois markets. The ancients knew the famous againcressonnières and mills fed by the waters of the Gorbeloun.Before the 1914 War, Gorbella had only a population of just 200 people, half of whom were of Italian nationality or origin, employed as farmers or daily trees in vegetable crops, gardens, orchards, olive groves, dairies... owned by large Niçois owners.Apart from the farms and beautiful bastides of nobles, the habitat was grouped togetheraround Sainte-Croix Church, then located in the current Place Fontaine du Temple. It is also the historic district of the former Stade du Ray, replaced today by a superb Park, instead of this mythical sporting venue, which has experienced the most beautiful hours and victories of the OGC Nice.

The quiet residence is very well inhabited, please respect the neighborhood.Departure 10 a.m. on the last day, except exceptional authorization, following numerous abuses, on request via Airbnb messaging, ONLY. However, I remain flexible on arrival times.I can provide you with a link to an excellent luggage storage service, if needed, upon request.Also, possibility of organizing additional Cleaning & Linen services, on request, at least 48 hours before the desired date of passage.Finally, I recommend a personal sports coach, "Riviera Personal Training", at your disposal for various quality programs, service at an additional cost and by appointment.Note that Sébastien is available by Airbnb Messages ONLY, during the day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. except extreme EMERGENCY.
