Prefer the 11th/20th arrondissement from every single other one : it's just the best ! You'll live amon Parisians and no tourists :) It's the favorite area of many French people as it's cool living, it's authentic, known as the most hipster and cultural place in the city.And it's so closed to the touristic center though ! Just 20 minutes with the subway from most of the "must visit" places !Père Lachaise (a few steps from my place) is much more than a graveyard. It's a huge Yard, giving you a shot of nature, silence and rest while being downtown. And plus you can meet there Edith Piaf, Frederic Chopin, Guillaume Apollinaire, Jim Morrison and many other friends of us :)Summer or Winter, it's always a good idea to have a look.The intimate street where the flat is located is calm and drives to a very animated boulevard full of very good restaurants, french wine bars, and even a craft beer factory just down the corner !But also a supermarket, an organic food market, a library, a bakery... Anything you need will be closed by foot ! When you arrive I'll give you all my best local tips :)
